#1 The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are – Carl Jung
Founding note 1. Part of a series of raw thoughts on how I see the world and why I'm going back to entrepreneurship – while building a personal brand online for the first time in my life.
Ciao! I'm Juho
3x founder (web design, AI & now SaaS) & ex-researcher from Finland.
Currently in my mid 20s, building a micro-SaaS studio with the goal of making $10k MRR in my own terms.
I'm also starting a social media presence for the first time in my life to build a personal brand and distribution channel for my businesses.
Tbh, I'm scared as hell for this social media thing.
This is the type of thing where my perfectionism that I'm trying to run away from kicks in.
To avoid that, the first six posts of this channel will be framed as founding notes that are in essence a raw story of:
Who I am & my background
Recent experiences that have shaped my interpretation of life
What I do and why I do it
I have basically never been a creator on social media in any form or shape.
I did post a few mirror selfies with a baseball cap 15 years ago, waiting for my crush to say I'm lovely.
This time I'm posting from other insecurities I'm desperate to confront:
Failing in public
Going all in with my authentic desires and ideas
Not truly giving a damn about what is expected from me
In our increasingly artificial world, I think the world and internet scream authenticity.
In societies where we've eliminated basic worries related to physical survival, we have created a reality of artificial suffering.
A system that encourages people to fit in, glorifies destroying themselves for status games, and occupies our attention with fear and negativity.
And our medicine for this suffering is indulging in artificial food, content, and connections. Shallow ideas about work-life balance, blind obsession with trends and materialism. All covering an even deeper drilling into artificial worries.
I think holistic authenticity is the way to escape this suffering.
Living brutally for your true self in all aspects of life, from the way you act in solitude to express yourself to the outer world.
This requires clarity, bravery and purpose – a disciplined body and mind that feeds total agency over one's choices; interpreting life as a game where your purpose is to become yourself, and through that pursuit, create unique value for the world.
If you do not know who you are, the world will tell you.
I've been inspired by many people (both among my friend circles and online) to pursue this path I thought I'd never do, and I'm immensely grateful for that.
And if any impact is derived from my content, I hope to be one of those that inspires people to try to do something on their own.
Making a living out of authenticity.
